US Congress holds on congressional hearings on the Issue of proposed U.S. grant of Nuclear Capable F16s to Pakistan

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

December 15th, 2015 Press Release US Congress holds on congressional hearings on the Issue of proposed U.S. grant of Nuclear Capable F16s to Pakistan and briefs RHC leadership on the issue Obama Administration has decided to give 8 F16 Fighter planes to Pakistan. As much as 80% of the $660 million cost is to be borne by the American tax-payer. These fighter jets are capable of carrying small tactical nuclear bombs escalating tensions in the region. RHC condemns this decision by President Obama and has been quite active on the Capitol Hill for the last 4 weeks and is pleased to announce that support is building in the US Congress, both in the House and the Senate for opposing this sale/grant. Congressman Ed Royce, Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee will be holding first of many hearings on December 16th from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM to question the Obama Administration’s decision. As it is evident from the first terror attack since 9/11 in 2001 on the US soil in San Bernardino, CA, Pakistan remains the epic center of all terror activities in the world. As Congressman Ted Poe has said repeatedly Pakistan is the Benedict Arnold in the US Pakistan relationship. It simply cannot be trusted. Senior leaders of Congress that form the Congressional Advisory Committee of RHC led by Congressman Pete Sessions, Chairman of the powerful Rules Committee will also speak on the subject at 1:30 PM at Capitol Hill Club on the Hill.
