Republican Hindu Coalition Formed in the US

On the lines of the Republican Jewish Coalition (RJC) and other similar bodies, an Indian-American businessman has taken the lead in launching the Republican Hindu Coalition (RHC) Shalabh “Shalli” Kumar addressed the inaugural meeting as the founder of the group and said there were certain issues and aims the coalition would work around and strengthen the bonds between Indo-Americans and the rest of the citizens

“India’s economy is growing faster than any other and given its size, its growth has huge impact on trade and prosperity all over the world. India’s position of leadership in the region makes it the United State’s greatest and most important allies.” Mr. Kumar outlined.

Several Republicans expressed their wishes toward the coalition. Newt Gingrich, former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Pete Sessions, Chairman of the House Rules Committee, and Senator Mitch McConnell graced the occasion.
