The Republican Hindu Coalition announced a grand rally in Washington in support of President Trump's immigration agenda. The coalition called for enhanced border security, a shift from chain migration toward merit-based immigration, elimination of the visa lottery, and an end to the per-country limit that has created a long green-card backlog for highly skilled immigrants, many from India.
The RHC also called for a DACA fix without a path to citizenship and a DALCA fix for legal childhood arrivals at risk of losing status. The rally was scheduled for Saturday, February 3rd, in front of the White House.
