Hindu Americans are among the most educated, entrepreneurial, and self-reliant people in the country, living a conservative life without calling it one. What was missing was a platform. The Republican Hindu Coalition (RHC) was founded in 2015 to build it, a permanent voice inside the Republican Party and across Washington, organized around four principles: free enterprise, disciplined government, strong families, and a country that leads from strength. Prosperity comes from people, not programs. When you are free to build, hire, and reinvest, the whole community rises with you. We stand for a smaller, lighter government that stays out of your business and your household, and for a tax code that rewards the risk you take rather than punishing it. Every dollar Washington spends is a dollar you earned first.
Run the country the way you run a household or a company. We support a balanced budget and honest accounting, where a smaller increase is not dressed up as a cut and no agency is treated as untouchable. Debt handed to your children is not compassion, it is a bill they never agreed to. Discipline is not austerity. It is respect for the taxpayer who funded the government.
Every strong community traces back to a strong family. The values you carry, hard work, faith, education, and responsibility for one another, are passed down at the dinner table long before they show up in policy. Hindu Americans should never have to choose between their heritage and their citizenship. We defend the freedom to raise your children in your traditions and to see those traditions respected in public life.
Peace is kept through strength. America leads the free world best when its friends trust it and its adversaries respect it. We support a strong national defense, clear-eyed alliances, and standing with partners against terrorism. At the center of that vision is a deep and durable alliance between the United States and India, two democracies and natural partners in the Indo-Pacific. We believe the 21st century can be an Indo-American century, and we work to help build it.
